Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge.
I previously have an MPhil in Education from the University of Cambridge and since gained a depth and breadth of professional experience working for central government, the EU institutions and national learning disability and autism social care providers. Witnessing first hand the challenges and opportunities concerning social care has motivated me to return to complete a PhD exploring the commodification of care and implications for people with a learning disability. The 3-year PhD studentship, which commenced in 2015 is funded by the NIHR CLAHRC and is supervised by Dr. Marcus Redley in the CIDDRG and Dr. Neil Stott, Executive Director of the Centre for Social Innovation at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
