I recently graduated from Kingston University London with a BSc (Hons) in Sociology and an MSc in Psychology. During my Masters year I completed a research project involving the application of anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (atDCS) over the left ventrolateral prefrontal cortex in elderly individuals. This project aimed to investigate the effect of non-invasive cortical stimulation on memory processes in the elderly. I have also volunteered with Kingston RISE, aiding community engagement for those with a history of mental ill-health and/or addiction, and learning disabilities. I joined the CIDDRG in November 2017 as a Research Assistant, working on Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). My current project will assess the use of vagus nerve stimulation for the treatment of behaviour problems in people with PWS.
