A Day in the Life series
Mental Health Awareness Week raises awareness of the importance of our psychological and emotional health. As part of this, we asked a variety of our members to share a day in their life.
This year the theme is Nature and our mental health. Nature has a unique ability to bring consolation in times of stress, increase our creativity and empathy. Even small contacts with nature found in the diaries here can reduce feelings of social isolation and be effective in protecting our mental health, and preventing distress.
