The dementia in Down’s syndrome study has now arrived at a very exciting and important point in its life! Lots of people have taken part, and we’ve started to take a look at the information that we have collected about people with Down’s syndrome. But we are still looking for the final few people to take part in our study before we can stop taking pictures of brains and take a good look at them to see what we can find out. You might have seen our final call for participants recently on the Down’s syndrome association website. If not, you can see it by clicking on this link: http://downssyndromeassociation.wordpress.com/2014/04/17/defeat-dementia-in-downs-syndrome/
If you would like to take part in the study, please get in touch with Liam or Tiina using the information on this website. Hopefully our next post will tell you about some of the interesting things we have learned about people with Down’s syndrome, and what happens when they get dementia.
