Each year, NIHR CRN: Mental Health makes an award for a study that has received its support and is judged to have outstanding service user involvement. NIHR CRN: Mental Health have awarded the 2015 scientific meeting award for service user involvement to the study funded by the NIHR’s Research for Patient Benefit scheme, entitled: ‘Characterising the experiences of men and women with learning disabilities following inpatient admission to general hospital’.
