I joined CIDDRG in August 2023 as a research assistant on the Alzheimer’s Disease Biomarker Consortium-Down Syndrome (ABC-DS). I graduated with an MSc in Foundations of Clinical Psychology and MA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen.

My current project is an international study funded by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) investigating the high risk of Alzheimer’s disease experienced by people with Down’s syndrome. It seeks to identify cognitive and biological markers and track the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Previously, I was involved in studies on behavioural interventions to treat anxiety among autistic adults with intellectual disabilities and specific phobias among children with intellectual disabilities.
