On Tuesday 17th of May, the Dementia in Down’s Syndrome research group screened their new film ‘Together’ at the Arts Picture House in Cambridge. With the help of Colin at Little Dragon Films, James at Sky Larking Films, and some enthusiastic research participants, the research group made this film to tell people about all of the work they have been doing to investigate the links between Down’s syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease. We hope that this film will help people understand why we are doing this research, and show them that taking part in these studies can be fun and exciting for everyone involved. But most importantly, we hope the film will help people to see that together is the only way that we can defeat dementia in Down’s syndrome!
