Psychiatry

 

Calum is a Research Associate at Cambridge Public Health and the Department of Psychiatry. His background is in public health and epidemiology, and he completed his PhD in 2008 at Bristol University. His research has focused on ageing and age-friendly communities and community-based assets in disadvantaged communities. This work has included the evaluation of Age-friendly Cities and Communities, examining the experiences of older people in rehoming schemes and looking at the impact of informal volunteering on mental health in disadvantaged communities in England. Calum has a keen interest in research inclusion and public involvement in research.
