
Summer CAMP 2025 – Cambridge Access to Mental Health and Psychology
Now in its fifth year, Summer CAMP is a free hybrid programme hosted by researchers in psychiatry and psychology at the University of Cambridge. It supports underrepresented UK undergraduate students interested in mental health, psychology, and postgraduate research.

What’s Involved

3-week online mentorship: Work with a Cambridge postgraduate researcher to write a 1,200-word research proposal.

2-day residential: Present your proposal, attend workshops, network with peers and faculty.

Workshops and Talks: Academic skills, funding, applications, and life as a postgraduate student.
Who Can Apply?
Open to UK-based undergraduate students (except those at Cambridge or Oxford) who are passionate about mental health or psychology. You don’t need to be studying psychology.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

First in family to attend university

From an ethnic minority background

Refugee or asylum seeker

Eligible for free school meals

Experienced illness or disability impacting education

Experience in care or as a carer
