Psychiatry
I am a PhD student in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Professor Valerie Voon. My research focuses on neuromodulation—including both invasive (e.g., deep brain stimulation) and non-invasive (e.g., transcranial electrical stimulation) methods—cognitive neuroscience, and computational psychiatry. I am particularly interested in how neuromodulation affects decision-making and addiction-related behaviours. I also conduct tractography-based studies to examine how structural brain connectivity relates to risk-taking and clinical outcomes. My work combines neuroimaging, behavioural tasks, brain stimulation, and computational modelling to better understand the neural circuits underlying impulsivity and compulsivity.
